Stung by Indifference.
I'll put on my Tokyo Journals here soon. It'll be in several posts/installments. Gonna take time to type everything (I'm a two-finger-typist and my handwriting's pretty incoherent).
Yesterday, planned to wash my car at the nearby Caltex (in Tmn. Univ. Indah, aka 'The Black Hole'). Turns out that other people from Sri Kembangan decided to send their car to the carwash too...and the sky is slowly clouded. So what can a guy do? I ventured to The Mines Shopping Center instead.
While waiting for the DVD people to open up their stalls, I ventured into the arcades. Been a long while. Fared horribly at Virtua Cop 3. Damn, it's been way too long. Decided to spend the rest of my tokens in the cheap karaoke booth. That's right, karaoke. And somewhere in Britain, Simon Cowell just fell into coma. After I've done some heartfelt rendition of old Alleycats tunes, it seems that the arcade is emptier somewhat...
Nothing of note from the DVD people...so I went to the console shops to find something for my beloved XBox 360. Bought Wrestle Kingdom & EA Fight Night Rd.3...what can I say, I loved smacking, stretching & suplexing people in the virtual gaming land. Turns out that the Fight Night disc is unreadable. I'll refrain from beating up people in the real world and will return the disc later today/tomorrow.
Been a PC gamer for most of my life, so some games on the console is hard to play for me. Shooting games....driving games. Maybe I just need more time to adjust. And 'adjusting' is just what I did, when I finally decide to give Gears of War another chance. And then I nailed the controls down. And baby, it's A-W-E-S-O-M-E.
Gone back to Klang to accompany my mum. Slept quite late, we chatted for a bit.
And that's how my weekend went. Gaming-heavy stuff mostly, and nothing else. Till the next installment, people.

Izzat, the designer
Back when I was a wee lad, I don’t even know what ‘design’ meant.
On April Fool’s Day of 2003, I became an employee of InternetNow Sdn Bhd, where I remained to this day. As the resident graphics guy, I worked on in-house graphic design solutions for InternetNow, and occasionally developing websites for our clients.
In the middle of September, 2006 – Izzmedia is online. Finally, after so many years of waiting, planning and craving…this site is unleashed to the world.
And perhaps pick up that pencil, and draw my superheroes once more.
